I am a single mom of 2 teenage boys. Both of their rooms needed major updating. So I went to my local home improvement store and purchased a couple Purdy brushes (because I heard the paint guy tell someone that they were the best) and a roller...Boy, was that paint guy right! The roller and brushes made a huge difference on how smooth and quick the paint went on, and I didn't even need to use the blue tape to cut in. Also, the roller was hands down the best I've ever used!!! It didn't leave streaks like other rollers. I will always use Purdy from now on.

Eeek! I committed to painting our sunroom on my own and now I am sorry I did. With ten 12 pane windows and wooden screens, I'm going bonkers. For two days I've worked with an artists brush and gotten 3 windows done (and ordered fast food). I'm sure there is an easier/quicker way but I sure don't know what it is. For such tiny spaces as window pane frames, I have to use an artists brush, right?

I want to paint a paneled room; however, I do not want the grooves in the paneling or the space between them to be visible in the finished wall. Can I add texture to the paint? What do I do and how do I do it? Please help!

Can I paint over wood paneling?

Posted by Samantha A.Our house is very old and has so many fine details and the original woodwork. Painting is a serious undertaking. With Purdy brushes, we can actually get the job done without marring the word work, mantle, each other...
